Kuala Lumpur - or KL as it's known by its friends - is an extremely modern city. Huge high rises dominate the sky line and shopping malls are ten stories high with theme parks in the middle of them - this creates a very odd atmosphere when shopping, all you can hear is the scream of kids as they ride around on a roller coaster suspended above your head. So KL has lots to explore, and what did me and Ed do? Sleep for 13 hours, eat at Ngau Kee's Famous Beef Ball Noodles Bar and get pissed up in a dive gay bar (magnificently Ed really did prove to Shakira that his hips don't lie) - nothing changes!
So, still suffering with jet lag, we are going on an 8 hour bus ride tomorrow to Pulau Perhentian Islands to lie on a beach, chill out and maybe do a bit of diving. By that time we should have our camera set up so we can show you where we are - so far we've only managed to take a photo of Ed outside Finnegan's Wake Pub to prove to his dad that the Irish really do get everywhere.

Piss ups: 1
Ed and Matt stylee arguments: 2 (over trying to find a payphone at midnight and the cost of Raspberry and Blackcurrant frappe bought from Starbucks)

I was beginning to wonder whether you had made it all up and that you just wanted to get rid of us all for a while. Yes please more pics please. We need evidence that Matt is there too.
